We are ESN ROMA ASE (also simply known as ESN Roma), the only NO-PROFIT official Erasmus and Exchange student association of the Sapienza university (where we are based, inside the Faculy of Economics), since 1992 the biggest Erasmus (and all kind of Exchange students) association in Rome and in all Europe (more than 1500 new students subscribe our association each year).

It refers mainly to Erasmus students of Sapienza university but all foreign students can subscribe also from Roma3, Luiss, Lumsa, Pio IX, Tor Vergata, etc. included American students from John Cabot, AUR, Temple, etc.

ESN stands for Exchange and Erasmus Student Student Network, that is the only official Erasmus network recognized by European Union and it is present in 33 countries.

We are a NO-PROFIT association, that means we are just voluntary students (mainly ex-erasmus as well) who get no money for their time and work spent just to help and entertain the Erasmus students!

We are more than 50 voluntary students and we "work" in different groups for all the different activities. We call each group a "WT" that stands for "working team". We have a long series of rigid and detailed rules which govern all life in our association to permit the total honesty and best efficiency in our work.

We help incoming Erasmus students to:

- Find an house in Rome, we have a special working team called "PROGETTO CASA";

- Get a fiscal code (called "codice fiscale"), you especially need it to get a card to eat at university refectory.

- Learn Italian or any other language, we have a special working team called "TANDEM", you can practice the language you like having conversations with other foreign students like you;

- Have any kind of informations about the crazy student life in Rome!

We are also well known for our "entertaing side", that is to organize some of the best

- Crazy parties, they are unique and famous since they are the only where Erasmus get free entrance, discounted drinks and a true international and friendly atmosphere you can't find anywhere else.)

- Travels, some of the "long" ones are in Venice, Florence, Naples, Sicily, Bologna, Genoa, etc., some of the "short" ones are in Perugia, Caserta, Tivoli, etc.);

- Cultural tours: Roman Catacombs, Tiber River, Ostia Antica, Vatican Museums, Italian Parliament and Senate, etc.)

- Cineforums, we show the best Italian movies, subtitles are included to help you understand);

- International student dinners, we call it "Eurodinner", which is a cross between a party and a meal where everybody brings typical dishes from their originary country);

- Soccer tournaments, also with girl teams as well;

- many and many other things!
